Experiences can make a big difference in a person’s life. You discover likes and hidden talents, learn how to connect with people, and learn how wonderful a community can be. The <\/span>Community Ventures Program<\/span><\/b> connects adults with developmental disabilities to those experiences. For some, these are first-time experiences. But, for all, they are life-changing!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ultimately, the Community Ventures Program starts the pre-employment discovery process. This is achieved by securing volunteer opportunities at local businesses, serving as chamber ambassadors, attending community events and activities, and educational experiences. The program participants then choose what opportunities best fit their interests.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Next, we hit the road! ARCO provides transportation, and an ARCO Community Ventures Leader will provide oversight of four program participants who are ready to discover their next great success.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
