At ARCO, we understand the path to independence is a unique journey for each individual we support. Our Personal Attendant Program is designed to provide personalized assistance. From teaching essential life skills to navigating community-based opportunities, our dedicated team works tirelessly. This ensures that individuals with developmental disabilities can live independently when they have access to the critical support needed. We believe everyone deserves to be included, make choices, and live on their own terms.
We also focus on health and wellness, which is an important part of leading a productive life. From Zumba to other community-based movement opportunities, our participants stay on the go! We also provide access to a medical professional who can guide staff on topics such as diabetes or provide certified training to administer medications. This type of support will help build a confident employee and is a best practice for supporting program participants.
Personal Care Attendant is ARCO’s largest program, making the direct support position in high demand and having a significant impact on the lives of those we support.
COMMUNITY CHOICES WAIVER SERVICES
Through Personal Care Assistance with daily routines, including personal care, we enable individuals to age-in-place in the comfort of their home, serving those with disabilities related to age or other causes. Assistance with grocery shopping and doctor’s or other medical visits accomplishes life-sustaining measures in the most beneficial setting for the overall well-being of those who engage the CCW supports.
