SUPPORTED INDEPENDENT LIVING
At ARCO, we understand the path to independence is a unique journey for each individual we support. Our Supported Independent Living Program (SIL) is designed to provide personalized assistance. From teaching essential life skills to navigating community-based opportunities our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that individuals with developmental disabilities can live independently. We believe everyone deserves to be included, make choices, and live on their own terms.
We also focus on health and wellness which is an important part of leading a productive life. From Zumba to other community-based movement opportunities our participants stay on the go! We also provide access to a medical professional who can guide staff on topics such as diabetes or provide certified training to administer medications. This type of support will help build a confident employee and is a best practice for supporting program participants.
