My bills are paid, I have help managing my benefits, and I get extra help with the things I don’t understand. ARCO’s Team Managers and Financial/Benefits Clerks help me handle things so that I can continue to be as independent as possible, living on my own. This enables me to live on my own without my family having to support my day-to-day needs.

In addition to personal assistance with everyday activities, we assist an adult with a developmental disability’s needs for assistance with domestic and financial assistance beyond the everyday needs for personal support through ARCO’s Supported and Independent Living Program. Assisting with bill paying, dealing with housing needs, assuring continued eligibility for benefits, etc. are done through this service.
We also focus on health and wellness, which is an important part of leading a productive life. From Zumba to other community-based activities, our participants stay on the go! We also provide access to a medical professional who can guide staff on topics such as diabetes or provide certified training to administer medications. This type of support will help build a confident employee and is a best practice for supporting program participants.
